When approached with the opportunity to professionally shoot something you've never filmed before -- your first reaction is 'oh hell no, I can't do that' and then your adrenaline kicks in and you say 'why the hell not!'.
Last year, I was very fortunate to be given the opportunity to shoot for a national Porsche enthusiast magazine called 'Excellence Magazine'. I had never shot a car in my life (insert nervousness here). The shoot was scrappy, thrilling, spontaneous, beautiful and filled with uncertainty. I loved every minute of it.
But what's for certain is the pride that I now have with the final output of my work. Moral of the story -- when given the chance, shoot outside your comfort zone.
